Active Resting, Phishing & Scams, & Men

Last night was a bit noisy, the middle flat next door has a new young showoff who had been playing loud music into the night. I had responded in kind earlier, and then a large bunch of drunk young people created a party. Noise Control had phone issues, so I went outside, retuned my voice for a grumpy old man and asked them to turn it down or the landlord and Noise Control would become involved. They turned it down enough rather quick, not really quiet, but enough.

It was a good sleep after that for me, until just after the 6am alarm when some idiot was screaming around the neighborhood on a 2-stroke motorbike. We have some annoying and immature people in the suburb next to us who like to come over this way. I talked to the toy tiger on the bed beside me before curling up for a sleep in. It was rather good.

I felt relaxed and more at ease. Not completely, much improved. Who was that person raging in their car Friday night?

Everything was in slow motion, I started polyurethaning my new project during breakfast, then had a second breakfast, morning tea, etc. I was still in my nightie as I hung washing on the line, and put up my new project. This went rather easily and was immediately pleasing. Cleaning up around the house was also good.

So it was early afternoon when I showered and dressed, and life was good.

That is, until the online BS started. It actually started last night with people wanting money, younger women with an attitude problem. I gave no money. Today it got worse, abusive and controlling men wanting a bit of action, and people who seemed on a mission from God to spam me with bible quotes. Why were they all picking on me?

It started to remind me of Friday night again, so I went away and did some cooking and work on another small project. Power tools can be so soothing, and there is watching things take shape as you work on them. Satisfying, calming.

Thats when I found my phone acc. had ended for the month, and the frustration of doing a manual pay on the weekend was revisited. It is a real pain in the...

I have watched or listened to YouTube and music all day. Now I am feeling tired, so I shall have an early night.
